A Storm Is Brewing Ahead Of Kunlun 76

Wednesday, August 22nd: The term ‘Unfinished Business’ is quite simply a perfect reflection of what’s brewing in Zhangqiu ahead of next month’s Kunlun Fight 76, which takes place on Sunday the 9th of September in Zhangqiu, China.

The showpiece encounter will feature Thailand’s Superbon ‘Smooth As Silk’ Banchamek squaring off against his arch nemesis, Ayman ‘The Golden Lion’ Aymanesh in their rearranged final 16 contest in this year’s Kunlun 70kg ‘Clash of Titans’ tournament.

These two warriors last met almost exactly one year ago on Kunlun 65 — on that occasion Superbon’s Silk out shined Ayman’s steel — hence the reason the unfinished business: let’s hope part two is as entertaining as part one was.

The show will also feature a one night,

8-women 60kg tournament, where only the bravest, strongest and smartest fighter will prevail to become the new ‘Mulan tournament’ champion.

The protagonists:

Anissa Haddoui from Morocco will clash with Chinese combatant Shi Lijiang in the opening 1/4 final.

Russia’s Vinnikova Svetlana will collide with China’s Zhu Mengjia in the second 1/4 final.

In the third 1/4 final Block Nili from the USA will square off against Li Mingrui.

The climatic 1/4 final will feature British fighter Niamh Kinehan clashing with Chinese fighter Wang Cong.

In a super-bout set at 66kgs, in the welterweight division, Japanese fighter Keijiro Miyakoshi will go to-to-tie with China’s Sun Zhixiang.

In what has the makings of whirlwind contest Daniel Stefanowski from Macedonia follows a long line of his countrymen into battle when he faces off against Yang Yu in a super-fight set at 88kgs.

In the night’s first of two MMA contests it will be an-all Chinese affair set in the 66kg division as Yan Xibo will clash with an as of yet unnamed opponent.

Fang Feida from China will pit his skills against his compatriot Lin Qiangbang in a super-contest set at 62kgs.

Brazilian warrior Jordan Kranio makes his return to the Kunlun stage where he will clash with China’s Wei Ninghui in super-bout set at 66kgs.

The penultimate contest of the evening sees American MMA fighter James Chaney face off against Chinese combatant Zhang Lipeng in a battle of super-nations set at 77kgs.
