Prague Is Alight For AllStarFight: Part V
Thursday, July 5th: It’s the day before the ‘AllStar Storm’ here in the magical and mystical city of Prague, Czech Republic — the city is awash with MuayThai fans from many various parts of the continent of Europe — counting down the hours to witness a host of elite fights stars in action. The fifth installment of the Bangkok based global promotion is growing in stature and popularity throughout the world of combat sports.
The official weigh-in took place earlier this morning ahead the eagerly awaited event, which is headlined by ‘Global Fighting Icon’ Buakaw Banchamek.
Buakaw and his opponent, local fighter Michael Krcmar were under the 70kg weight limit — in expert fashion — and it’s now time to reload and put the final preparations into place ahead of tomorrow’s showpiece encounter.
Superbon ‘Smooth As Silk’ Banchamek and his opponent faced off this morning ahead of their impending battle for tomorrow night’s pre-main event contest, that aforementioned opponent is German combatant Fabian Hundt. The classy Thai fighter is coming off a magnificent victory of Belorussian combatant Dzianis Zuev, whilst Hundt is coming off a loss.
Sitsongpeenong gym warrior and ex Lumpinee stadium champion, Thongchai, makes his eagerly awaited return to elite MuayThai action, where he will square off against Slovakian veteran fighter, Vladimir Moracvik. Thongchai made a foray into the competitive world of kickboxing in recent years — to the thankfulness of the boards of MuayThai fans — the fighter known as ‘The Terminator’ is back and will showcase his venomous skills on the AllStarFight stage.
Manachai from Bangkok’s Yokkao gym, a rising star in the middleweight division returns to fight on AllStarFight for a fourth time where he will take the tall rangey fighter from Spain, Nauzet Trujillo, in a clash set at 70kgs.
English fighter Charlie Guest and his Thai opponent, Cola, who trains alongside Buakaw at Banchamek gym both hit the scales at 70kgs, to setup a mouthwatering clash. All fourteen fighters made weight, with drama, at this mornings weigh-in — making a total of seven contests on the card — you can watch the action live on Fight Sports from 6pm (Czech local time).
Strap in. There will be glory and ecstasy for some and agony and destitute for others.
