Duel Showdowns: Global stars to collide in France

Thursday, March 29th: The Chingiz Allazov wrecking train travels to France on Sunday the 8th of April where the indomitable Belorussian will face off against French MuayThai star Samy Sana.

The contest will be the main event on the Duel Promotion which takes place at the Halle Georges-Carpentier center in Paris.

Allazov is coming off a monstrous ‘KO’ victory on last weeks K1 show show in Tokyo, Japan — a knockout which came in the 1st round via a thunderous left-hook that landed flush on the jaw of his Japanese opponent, sending him crashing to the canvas beyond the point of no return — and in doing so, Allazov has now extended his incredible unbeaten streak to 27 wins.

Sana for his part is fresh off winning a four-man tournament in France on last weekend’s Nuit Des Titans event - he beat his compatriot Kevin Renahy on points in the semifinal and dominated Moroccan boxer Zakaria Laaouatni on points in the final.

This sets the upcoming showdown between Allazov and Sana to be a scintillating affair.

Can the former WBC MuayThai super-middleweight world champion overcome the mighty Allazov and end his 27-fight winning streak, or will the current K1 super-middleweight King reign supreme?

Another intriguing matchup taking place on the Duel promotion features the current Lumpinee stadium Welterweight champion, Rafi Bohic, taking on his compatriot BoBo Sacko.

Bohic is fresh off an conquering victory over his fellow Frenchman Dylan Salvador, on last month’s Best of Siam promotion, which was held at the world famous Lumpinee stadium in a contest that Bohic defended his coveted 147lb stadium title.

The Frenchman who trains out of Singpatong gym on the island Phuket ended the title aspirations of Salvador in ruthless fashion when he stopped him with a venomous elbow in the midst of the 4th round.

Sacko’s most recent outing in the squared circle was a doomed attempt to win the WBC welterweight world title on the same event that Bohic beat Salvador. Sacko went up against formidable Sitsongpeenong gym monster Buakiew eventually losing the contest via a 4th round stoppage.
