Muay TV: The rebirth of the old Asawindam TV stadium

May 21, 2017

The exponential growth of live MuayThai Tv shows no sign of stopping — and it's Dr. Supachai-Knot from OneSongchai promotions and some colleagues turn to get in on he action and they have dusted the cobwebs off the old Asawindam studios in Lad Prao district here in Bangkok, with the premise of starting a new weekly MuayThai show.

The show will air live on Thai cable TV every Sunday morning from: 10.30am-12.30pm via Channel: TV24.

There will be five bouts on the card and the fighters will be selected from an array of the best young talent from some of Thailand's top gyms.

The newly refurbished Asawindam MuayThai stadium which is located in the basement of the Imperial Ladprao shopping mall in Bangkok was always a fantastic stomping ground for introducing young talent. Sangmanee and Panpayak both made their Bangkok debuts there, plus many more of today's stars fought there in their early teens.

The map below shows the location of stadium and it is easily accessible from the Ladprao MRT station. Ringside entrance to watch the fights costs 300 baht and it includes a non alcoholic beverage.

The fights can also be viewed from outside Thailand via the link below:
