Thailand versus Australia headlines tonight's MXMuayXtreme show
Good morning from the sunny city of Bangkok, Thailand. It's Friday the 17th of February and that means it's the day for more Muay insanity at the GMM TV studios here in the city of Angels.
This evenings main event sees two boys match-up for what has the making of a stimulating Muay battle - the reason for that assumption - both fighters have had previous experience at MX and on both occasions, they each had their hands raised in satisfying victory.
Thailand's representative is Lampard S.J PiekUThai and the man from the land down under is Chadd Collins. Chadd fought and beat ex superstar, Pakorn, in a bruising encounter on his first outing at MX, whilst Lampard scored a beauty of KO over Uzbeki opposition.
The prelude to the main event sees Phuket based Canadian fighter, Matthew Richardson, go up against ex stadium champion, Sirimongkol Sitiniwat.
Matthew is no stranger to fighting under this concept as he fought Wayne Parr last year in Australia, whilst also fighting Wanchalerm on the third MX show. He was defeated in both of those fights. Can he rectify that tonight?
As is the concept for this promotion there are seven fights for tonight's proceedings and they are all fighters from the Kingdom of Thailand taking on opposition from around the globe. There are fighters from Cambodia, Italy, France, Russia, Portugal and the two aforementioned boys from Canada and Australia. This is truly the United Nations of MuayThai events.
The show starts at 9pm (Thai time) and if you happen to be here in Bangkok don't hesitate to go along and watch the expected action-packed fights - which take place at the GMM studios on Asoke road in the Sukhumvit area of this awesome metropolis.
