Tanko will launch their new exciting MuayThai promotion, Tanko MuayThai league (TML) on Sunday the 12th of February.
The location of the show is in a city synonymous with football, but with Yokkao and now Tanko - the greater Manchester area is well becoming the MuayThai meca of the United Kingdom.
The main event for their first show sees the younger of the Wakeling brothers, Michael, go toe-too-toe with the highly experienced veteran, Marco Pique, aka, "THE SNIPER".
The fight is set at 75kgs and the fans can expect a no holds barred encounter from the opening bell. Pique is coming off the back of three straight losses. Is he set to bounce back with a win over the durable Wakeling?
Speaking of Wakeling, he will be shaking off some ring rust as he hasn't fought since 2015 and he along with his brother, Stephen, have been two of the most naturally gifted MuayThai fighters hailing from the UK. But, unfortunately we never get to see enough of them. Stephen is of course retired!
The co-main event sees the UK's number one MuayThai fighter of the last decade, Liam Harrison, return to the ring for the first time since his loss to Fabio Pinca.
He (Harrison) will be keen to put on a show and get another victory under his belt.
Liam will face off against Spanish fighter, Jesus Romero, who hails from Madrid. This fight is set at 67kgs. Romero is an exciting walk forward fighter so this has the making of real exciting fight.
It's the Battle of Britain in the next fight where England's Macaulay Coyle will go up against Scotland's Mondo Woodcock - and this fight is set at 57kgs.
England takes on Cyrus in this bout between Jonno Chipchase and Savas Michael - and this match-up is set at 61kgs.
There are fourteen schedualed fights on the card with the show starting at 2:30pm. The following link has all the information you need on tickets and the location of the venue: Tanko MuayThai League
