The end of year OneSongchai charity promotion is headlined with Sangmanee taking on Kongsak at Rajad
Two previous winners of the coveted Sports writers fighter of year award are set to clash for the first time
It's Wednesday the 21st of December and tonight at the fabled coliseum of Muaythai, aka, Rajadamnern stadium, we will get to see two bona-fide superstars of the sport collide for the first time in this evenings main event.
Sangmanee from 13 Coins gym will step up in weight to fight one of the Kings of Buriram, in Kongsak from Sitboonmee gym. Both fighters weighed in at 133.5lbs at this mornings weigh-in.
Sangmanee was originally supposed to take on Tanonchai, who very unfortunately got injured, so Songchai promotions in needing to keep Sangmanee on the card binned the Kongsak versus Petpanomrung rematch to make this fight happen.
Petpanomrung will now fight Thaksinlek this coming Saturday on the weekly live Songchai TV show.
The prelude to tonight's main event is quite an intriguing and scintillating fight with the man of the moment, Pernkun Tor Suath, who has since his last outing in the ring - been crowned both the Rajadamnern stadium and Sports Authority of Thailand fighter of the year for 2016 taking on the boy wonder in Gingsanglek Tor Laksong.
They had their pulsating first encounter a couple of months ago in what was a fantastic of MuayThai at its finest with Pernkun taking the deserved win.
Will it be revenge for Gingsanglek or a victorious repeat win for the man from Rayong province, Pernkun.
Superbank continues his return to the highly competitive elite Bangkok MuayThai circuit for his third outing since returning to the sport after his two year hiatus into the world of amateur western boxing.
He will face off against former Kiatpphontip gym fighter, Petlamsin; in about set at 130lbs.
