A host of Thailand's MuayThai stars are set to fight in the land of the Rising Sun
Three current Thai stadium champions will fight on Japan's Knockout promotions next event
Japan has a new kickboxing promotion and for their upcoming event, which takes place at the Tokyo dome on the 5th of December they have put together a number of interesting match-ups pitting some top talent from Thailand against a handful of Japan's leading fighters.
The shows main event features the current 135lb champion of Rajadamnern stadium, Japan's Genji Umeno, who will face off against Thailands Sirimongkol PK Saenchai gym, who himself is a two time former champion of Rajadamnern stadium.
The prelude to the main event sees the current Ch7 stadium champion, and all round MuayThai superstar, Wanchalong from PK Saenchai gym, go head-to-head against Japan's newest kickboxing golden boy, Tenshin Nasukawa.
The next bout is an all Japanese affair featuring the currrent 154lb champion of Rajadamnern stadium, Takuya Imanari, who will face off against the always flamboyant, Yuichiro Nagasima.
Yodwanee Saochanatip, a former winner of Thailand's coveted Ch7 stadium Poon Suea tournament, faces off against Japan's Mori Yusuke. Yodwannee as he is known as these days, was formerly fighting under the name, Yokpetch Petkasem.
In the evenings first Thailand versus Japan bout, ex Kiatpetch gym boxer, and former WPMF 130lb champion, Starboy, will go to war with Otsuki Haruaki. Starboy now trains out of Sor Dechapan gym in Bangkok.
