CHANNEL 7 STADIUM
Channel 7 Stadium here in Bangkok is the third most important venue for MuayThai fights in the Kingdom of Thailand. It is only surpassed by the famed Rajadamnern and Lumpinee stadiums.
The stadium itself is actually a TV studio, with a boxing ring in the middle. If you are coming to visit Bangkok, a trip to witness the spectacular fights at Ch7 is a complete must on any travelers, or MuayThai aficionados list.
Its following garners such fervor and respect that it airs on a prime Sunday afternoon slot on Thai national TV.
The match making is set in a way that all fighters must fight an equal set weight limit. Fighters weigh-in on the morning of the fights at 6am, and the fights start at 2:30pm.
The stadium weight classes are from 102lbs, right up to 154lbs.
