Friday, June 25, 2021: Bangkok’s Lumpinee Stadium reopens it’s famed doors next weekend after a hiatus of over two months due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic restrictions on gatherings of more than twenty people.

Next week’s show will make history for the sport of MuayThai when female fighters are allowed to fight at the arena with the new management team under the GoSport team having spent a small fortune revamping and rejuvenating the stadiums interior.

Thailand’s Buakaw MorakorChor will face off against Sanaejan SorJor Tongprajin for the vacant WBC MuayThai mini-flyweight world title and the Lumpinee mini-flyweight title.

It has been a long road to get to this point, a lot of people were involved. It will be a momentous occasion for the sport of MuayThai when female fighters are allowed to fight at Mecca of MuayThai, Lumpinee Stadium.

The show will air live via the GoSport website, http://www.gosport.world starting at 6pm local time. The show will also air live video YouTube and Facebook.

The eyes of the MuayThai world will be Lumpinee Stadium on July 3, and with the plans involved, hopefully for many years to come. The Go Sport team have laid out ambitious plans to turn the storied arena into a modern coliseum of MuayThai.
