Sunday, September 2nd: Thailand’s most lucrative MuayThai tournament is down to serious business end of its 18th installment as the final four combatants were confirmed on today’s show at Bangkok’s Channel7 stadium.
On today’s fught card victories for Fahpratan and Ekalak over Tanachart and Panpercent, respectively, meant these two young men joined Terkiat and Petchmongkol as the four semi finalists in this year’s tournament.
The draw for the ‘final four’ was made in the ring prior to today’s main event and the resulting draw meant:
Fahpratan Dabransarakam will clash with Terkiat
Sor-Sor Pakorn in the first semifinal and Petchmongkol will collide with Eakalak Por Pinapat in the second semifinal.
Both semifinals will take place on Sunday the 30th of September at the iconic TV studio in central Bangkok with the final of this year’s Tiger cement tournament tentatively sceduaked for Sunday the 28th of October at Lumpinee stadium.
The winner of the Tiger cement tournament receives upwards of ฿800,000 baht in cash prizes and accolades. Each year the tournament starts in February with 32 fighters and cumulates in October at Lumpinee stadium.
