Tuesday, April 17th: The sprawling metropolis of Hong Kong is synonymous with marital arts due to it being the spiritual home of the legend that is Bruce Lee.
Well this coming May — Monday the 21st to be exact — another legend, a living legend, will travel to the magical city of Hong Kong to showcase his masterful fighting skills of the science of eight limbs.
The correlation between the late, great Bruce Lee and the poetic Buakaw is that they both inspired different generations of fight enthusiasts to fall in love with their respective disciplines — Jeet Kune Do (JKD) and MuayThai, respectively!
Buakaw will headline AllStarFight: Part IV against Australian fighter Victor Nagbe in what promises to be a ‘scintillating encounter’ -- and which also happens to be a rematch from their first clash back in 2014, a contest that was won by Buakaw via a points decision.
The showpiece event for the evening is set for 70kgs — will it be victorious revenge for Nagbe or glorious repeat for Buakaw?
Thailand’s Petchtanong Banchamek will square off against Bulgarian fighter Antron Petrov in a contest set at 67kgs.
