Thursday, March 29th: Liam Harrison puts his proverbial crown as the ‘King of British MuayThai’ on the line when he faces off against Charlie Peters on the MuayThai Grand Prix show, at London’s O2 Arena, on Saturday the 7th of July.
The 8-time world champion, who over the years has faced off against a plethora of the world’s finest MuayThai fighters has granted the Peters camp their wish of challenging the Bad Company gym fighter for his aforementioned crown.
32-year old Harrison is coming off a defeat to Frenchman BoBo Sacko, a fight that took place back in December - Harrison lost the contest on points.
Prior to the Sacko contest Harrison had won three straight fights in a row, beating two Frenchmen Charles Francois and Rayan Mellki and Spanish fighter Jesus Romero.
Peters for his part is also coming off a loss in his most recent outing in the ring —!that defeat came at the hands of Frenchman Eddy Nait Slimani, back in January.
Prior to that loss Peters had two solid victories over France’s Aziz Hlalli and Ireland’s Sean Clancy.
So the stage is set, the fight is confirmed and there is no doubt there will be quite a lot of social media shenanigans from fans of both fighters, in the buildup to this mouth watering clash.
Will the indomitable Harrison walk-the-walk and keep his seat on the throne, or can the silky southerner put the King to his sword?
Find out on Saturday the 7th of April!
