That day by the way is: Saturday the 9th of September and the the fight will headline a "Boxing after Dark" promotion live on the HBO TV network.
The rematch was set in stone by the powers that be at the World boxing council (WBC). Srisaket said all along that he would fight who ever and whenever.
Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez will be looking to avenge his loss to Srisaket and regain the highly coveted junior bantamweight world title. Gonzalez recently stated that he is ready to recommence their battle in the ring and reclaim his crown as the King of the 115lb division.
Srisaket for his part stated that he has nothing but respect for Gonzalez but he is the champion and he intends on keeping his crown. He is already training very hard for the upcoming rematch — and that boxing fans around the world should tune in to expect more boxing fireworks between these two ferocious pugilists.
The fight will once again be promoted by K2 promotions. Tom Loeffler, the promotions managing director stated that they are very excited about hosting the rematch.
