The Elbow King has been awarded the coveted Lumpinee stadium accolade of MuayThai boxer of the year
The Kasang, Buriram, native (pictured above) with his personal hero, Saenchai, has had a truly outstanding year in the ring scoring some near on impossible Knock-outs with his razor sharp elbows.
So far this year - MuangThai has had three fights at Lumpinee stadium and all three wins were of magnitude to sway the stadiums committe towards him for the award.
The first was back on March 4th, where he beat Saen from Parunchai gym, via a unanimous points decision.
The second win at the stadium came on Friday the 2nd of September where he again was in superb form to beat the predator that is Yodlekpet, and this was via a points decision.
His third and final bout at the stadium up to this point and the one which swung the vote in his favor was his monstrous elbow KO win over the equally impressive Petpanomrung from Kiatmoo9 gym. This fight took place on Friday the 30th of September.
MuangThai's next and final bout of 2016 will take place at Lumpinee stadium (09-12-2016) on next Friday nights 60th birthday show; where he will face off against the might of Yodpanomrung from Jitmuangon gym.
